Data-Driven Adaptive Network Slicing for Multi-Tenant Networks

چکیده

Network slicing to support multi-tenancy plays a key role in improving the performance of 5G networks. In this paper, we propose two time-scale framework for reservation-based network backhaul and Radio Access (RAN). proposed scheme, subset slices is activated via novel sparse optimization long with goal maximizing expected utilities tenants while short are reconfigured according time-varying user traffic channel states. Specifically, using statistics from users channels also considering utility serving slice reconfiguration cost, formulate problem update configuration resources such that maximum isolation reserved enforced. The formulated problems time-scales non-convex difficult solve. We use $\ell_q$-norm, $0<q<1$, group LASSO regularizations iteratively find convex approximations problems. Frank-Wolfe algorithm solve approximated time-scales. To cope dynamical nature variations, fast, distributed Simulation results demonstrate our approaches relative optimal solutions existing state art method.

Network Slicing Games: Enabling Customization in Multi-Tenant Mobile Networks

Network slicing to enable resource sharing among multiple tenants –network operators and/or services– is considered a key functionality for next generation mobile networks. This paper provides an analysis of a well-known model for resource sharing, the ‘share-constrained proportional allocation’ mechanism, to realize network slicing. This mechanism enables tenants to reap the performance benefi...

A TRILL-based multi-tenant data center network

IaaS Providers need next-generation virtualized data center networks, providing large-scale multi-tenancy services and meeting new requirements in terms of efficiency and availability. The main limitation of current network architectures mainly comes from inadequate design standards, such as those for Ethernet Bridging (802.1D) and Virtual LAN (802.1Q), which were not designed to handle large n...

Henge: Intent-driven Multi-Tenant Stream Processing

We present Henge, a system to support intent-based multitenancy in modern stream processing applications. Henge supports multi-tenancy as a first-class citizen: everyone inside an organization can now submit their stream processing jobs to a single, shared, consolidated cluster. Additionally, Henge allows each tenant (job) to specify its own intents (i.e., requirements) as a Service Level Objec...

Traffic Isolation on Multi-Tenant Data Center Networks

To satisfy demanding clients and o↵er features comparable to the competition, infrastructure-as-a-service providers (IaaS) need fast, flexible and easily configurable local networks. OpenStack is one of the most well known open IaaS platforms. Although OpenStack meets most needs of a IaaS platform, its virtualized network implementation still lacks flexibility to support isolation on a multi-te...
